Yes — the live Bitcoin block height and halving countdown are fetched directly from mempool.space, a community-run blockchain explorer.
Most features work offline, including calculators (using last-cached prices), the quiz, glossary, deep dives, and all Learn content. Live prices and news require an internet connection.
